DEVICE DESIGN AND CALCULATIONS

The device structures we design are always supported by appropriate calculations, proving the correctness of the geometry, strength and safety assumptions. In case of pressure equipment, pipelines and complete industrial systems, we carry out design and calculations in accordance with the relevant regulations and legal acts as well as related regulations and harmonized standards, including EN 13445, EN 13480, EN 1591, EN 12953, AD 2000- Merkblatt, ASME, PD 5500 and many others. We also carry out calculations according to older national regulations, e.g. WUDT-UC. We use the Visual Vessel Design (VVD) software tool. It is an integrated and universal support system used for design calculations of tanks and other pressure devices of various designs and tube-sheet heat exchangers. This software is approved by the most of Notified Bodies in the European Community territory, including the Polish UDT, TÜV, BV, DNV, Swiss TS. In case of other structures, calculations are carried out based on the principles of mechanics, material strength, including static and dynamic simplified and experimental models as well as finite element methods (FEM)
